BoxHER is a women-centered space for learning real boxing, kickboxing, and combat sports.
We believe women shouldn’t have to arrive experienced, confident, or already “fit” to start training. They should be able to walk in curious, ask questions, make mistakes, take their time with a skill, and still be taken seriously.
That means real technique without the ego. Challenge without the pressure to prove yourself. And coaching that meets you where you are without watering down what you’re learning.
Around here, beginners train beside experienced women. We hit pads, work with partners, solve problems, miss combinations, try again, and laugh considerably more than you might expect from people voluntarily punching each other.
Because BoxHER isn't about creating one kind of woman.
It’s about creating space for different women to discover what they enjoy, what they want to learn, and what they're capable of doing.
This is our corner. Maybe it could become yours, too.
BoxHER began in 2024 with a simple belief: women deserve a space to learn combat sports without feeling like they have to prove they belong there first.
What started with boxing continued to evolve as we listened to the women training with us—what they wanted to learn, what made them nervous, what challenged them, and what kept them coming back.
Over time, BoxHER grew into more than a class. Boxing led to kickboxing, specialty training, private coaching, self-defense, events, and a community with its own personality, inside jokes, and way of doing things.
We’ve changed along the way. We’re still changing.
But one thing has stayed pretty simple:
Real training. Thoughtful coaching. And room for women to figure out what combat sports can mean for them.
She Belongs Here. Maybe you do too.
BoxHER has grown beyond a single boxing class.
From boxing and kickboxing to private coaching, No-Gi grappling, self-defense, and specialty training, each program gives women another way to learn, explore, and build real skills.
Some women come to throw their first punch. Others want to sharpen their technique, learn what happens on the ground, work through specific situations, or simply keep discovering new parts of combat sports.
You don’t have to do everything.
Find what interests you. Start there. We’ll build from it.
You don’t need to arrive confident, experienced, or already in shape.
BoxHER is a place to learn. To ask questions. To take the awkward reps. To understand what you’re doing and why. To challenge yourself without having to prove yourself.
Some women come for the technique. Some for the challenge. Some for the community. And some simply want to try something they’ve always been curious about.
Whatever brings you through the door, you get to decide what the experience becomes.
Come as you are. We’ll take it from there.
